These stud earrings combine carefully etched sustainable walnut wood with reclaimed brushed steel and sterling silver backings. Handmade in the UK these modern earrings make a perfect gift for a 5th (wood) or 11th (steel) wedding anniversary.

Crafted with consideration, all my pieces are handmade with love in my home studio. A new form take great care in finding materials that minimise my impact on the environment and in making processes as eco friendly as possible.

The natural grain from the wood adds a beautiful element of contrast against the brushed metal finish. A modern & timeless design, these earrings are also available in brushed copper or brushed brass.

Earring size: 15mm x 14mm. Each piece will be presented in a handmade designer box made from 100% recycled paper.

Materials

Reclaimed brushed steel, sustainable walnut wood with sterling silver earring posts and butterflies. As walnut wood is a beautiful, natural product, the colour and grain will vary, ensuring each product is totally unique - all wood is FSC certified and comes from the EU.

My silver is sourced from a EU company who requires all their suppliers to sign up to The Ethical Trading Initiative, which states: for all their workers employment is freely chosen, freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected, working conditions are safe and hygienic, child labour shall not be used, living wages are paid, working hours are not excessive, no discrimination is practised, regular employment is provided and no harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed. They have also been audited by SEDEX, an independent organisation that monitors suppliers’ ethical performance.

The copper, brass, and steel inlays are sourced from industrial surplus to the interior design industry and are cut in the UK.

Delivery

Your items are handmade to order and will be dispatched within 3-5 working days. Orders will be sent using Royal Mail Second Class (or you can upgrade to first class signed for). International orders will be send using standard international (no tracking number) but if you would like a tracking number to see your item's progress, please upgrade at checkout.

Jewellery Care

All jewellery is treated to ensure the longevity of the surface finish. Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, creams and other sprays as this will mark the wood and damage the durable lacquer applied to protect the metal elements from tarnishing

To keep your jewellery in top condition they recommend keeping pieces in a safe place whilst not being worn and to be removed whilst exercising, sleeping, or washing. The silver elements of my designs can be cleaned with a silver cloth to brighten.
