Essential organic Chickpeas are a very versatile ingredient used in Indian & Middle Eastern cuisine. They can be ground into flour to make chapattis or cooked and blended with garlic, Essential organic olive oil and tahini, lemon juice, Essential paprika, salt and sesame seeds to make a creamy, wholesome houmous. Chickpeas are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibre, high in protein and they make an excellent alternative to meat in vegetarian and vegan dishes.
